2022 Holiday Gift Guide: 12 Ethically Made and Sustainable Gift Ideas
We're excited to publish our annual gift guide, something we've been doing since we only had about eight products in our collection in 2016! A few things about our products stand out and make the heart melt, especially when received as a gift during the most magical time of year. When you buy a gift from us, you help us make a difference in multiple ways.
1. For every item you buy, we get to donate a pair of new biodegradable bamboo underwear to requesting organizations from our waiting list serving women and young women in crisis like domestic violence shelters, rape clinics, disaster relief, orphanages and more.
Our current December partner is Lifecenter Saver Orphanage in Petion-Ville, Haiti.
2. All of our products are fully and actually made in Kansas City, keeping dollars in our local city. We pay a living wage to all of our sewers, which makes us part of only three percent of the world's fashion brands to do this.
3. Our products are made from sustainable fabrics and materials like bamboo, organic cotton, cruelty-free silk and plant-based plastic-free non-animal leather.

New to our collection as of this season, it's already become a quick customer favorite. Hayley designed this bralette after we received feedback about our popular OG skinny band bralettes. Our original bamboo and lace bralettes have been featured as best honeymoon lingerie and best eco-friendly wedding gifts in BRIDES and theknot, but through customer feedback over the last six years, we've found that the fit is not perfect for all bra sizes. So, we developed our wide band bralette styles to be comfy underwire-free bralettes for all shapes.
These six classic styles were designed by our founder Hayley Besheer Santell - ten years ago, in 2012 - to be staple underwear drawer basics. We've kept these styles in our collection since 2014 when they launched. Our laces are sourced from the overruns (waste) that larger companies produce and don't end up using. Our bamboo underwear has been reported time and time again as "addicting underwear" that you search in your dresser drawer for.
Best paired with the bamboo crop tank or one of our sustainable sweatshirts, our easy breezy comfy joggers are a perfect travel staple. We find these perfect for wearing on a plane or a long road trip since the waistline is never too tight and easily adjustable.

Our newest menswear tee dropping 12/8/22, this will be the last product we'll launch in 2022. Hayley designed this tee after we asked for lots of feedback over the last few years about products in our menswear collections. You guys have loved our menswear staple tee, but many have mentioned that it fits more like a long and lean tee, so we re-named it this. Then, we redeveloped our classic tee to be what it is now - a bamboo basic tee that comfortably fits most body types!

This sustainable sweatshirt fabric is made from the comfiest blend of organic cotton and a fibre made from wood pulp like eucalyptus. This one is part of our "travel uniform staples" collection. We recommend it for long plane or car rides, or a quick elevated staple to throw on when you want to wear sweats but not necessarily look like it!

12/23 we're open in our Kansas City Westside store from 11am until 9pm for last minute gift shopping with KC small business pop-ups.
Christmas Eve we're open but closing early at 3pm.
